Our first lesson is a simple octagon, with one set of pavilion and crown facets, no real meetpoints, and a floating table. This lesson teaches how to cut pavilion facets to a centerpoint (P1), how to cut girdle facets to an even depth (G1), how to level the girdle when cutting crown facets (C1), and how to cut a table (T). Lesson rules: cut in amethyst, with no size restrictions
