Suite: Tessellation Party by Arya Akhavan (October 2012)

This is a slight expansion of Tessellation 2 (B), a truncated triangle. It's incredibly easy and straightforward to cut. It may be a tessellated checkerboard, but it's got the reflection pattern and light return of a brilliant. Can be cut in any material from quartz to rutile (RI = 1.54 - 2.62) with no changes, but I like it best in citrine. Suggested size = 5-10 mm
