This design came about from my desire to inscribe triangles inside each other, rotating each consecutive one by between 15 and 45 degrees. I couldn't quite get enough triangles, though. This version is much shallower. This design works in materials from petailte to CZ (RI = 1.50 - 2.16) with no changes. (I prefer it in zircon.) Suggested size = 5-12 mm
